About Me

About Me

I'm Tolulope Ajewole, a Product Designer with 3 years of experience turning complex problems into clean, functional interfaces that actually move the needle.

I've worked across AI products, B2B SaaS platforms, eCommerce, and data-heavy products — leading design from the first wireframe to final launch. Most notably, I led the end-to-end product design for Fastlink, helping grow their user base to 5,000 and achieve 30% retention.

My work spans dashboard design, mobile apps, websites, UX audits, and Framer development. I don't just design for aesthetics, I design for outcomes.

I'm open to full-time roles and freelance projects. If you're building something and need a designer who takes ownership, let's talk.

Why UI/UX Design?

Why UI/UX Design?

I was that child who spent hours surfing the internet, jumping from one website to another, downloading games, completing assignments, falling down rabbit holes. But one thing always got in the way: the websites themselves.

Cluttered pages. Confusing navigation. Simple tasks that took ten steps too many. I didn't have the language for it back then, but I was living inside bad user experience, and feeling every bit of the frustration it caused.

When I decided to go into tech, graphic design felt like the natural fit. Then a friend introduced me to UI/UX design and something clicked. There was an entire field built around solving the exact frustrations I'd grown up with. That was it for me.

Who I Am as a Designer Today

Who I Am as a Designer Today

I don't design for aesthetics first. I design for the person on the other side of the screen, the POS operator in Lagos who can't afford to stop and type, the field sales rep logging client data under harsh sunlight, the restaurant owner trying to make sense of a dashboard that was supposed to simplify their day.

My work lives at the intersection of empathy and clarity. I ask what a user needs to do in the first 30 seconds, then I build everything around that answer.

Across four projects, spanning voice AI, B2B dashboards, field operations, and web design, I've learned that the best design decisions aren't always the most inventive ones. Sometimes the right call is to strip everything back until only what matters remains.

What I'm Looking For

What I'm Looking For

I'm currently open to intermediate product design roles and freelance collaborations. I have a strong engineering background that informs how I think about design, I understand constraints, systems, and how products get built, not just how they look.

I'm also open to relocating for the right opportunity, including visa-sponsored roles and scholarship-supported programmes.

When I'm not designing, you'll find me on a football pitch, deep in a book, or planning my next adventure. I believe curiosity — whether in design or in life — is what separates good work from great work.
